Who we are...
Kagyu Sukha Chöling (KSC) is a Tibetan Buddhist center offering rich and varied programs to the community from meditation instruction and retreats, to classes in philosophy and sacred literature, group practices, and many other services. The timeless, accessible teachings of the Buddha available through the center cultivate inner peace, compassion, and insight. Everyone is welcome to enter its doors.
About the Center...
The meditation Center is a three-story, 6,000 square-foot facility. The ground floor contains KSC offices, a classroom, and a library, and commercial space. The second floor includes a spacious meditation hall. The upper floor houses the two resident teachers and quarters for visiting Lamas.
Fundraising Goals
The beautiful lotus graphic below shows the many ways to provide ongoing support for the activities at KSC. All funds are directed to the operation of the Center and repayment of outstanding building loans.
The 2012 goal is to raise $100,000 and continue our commitment to accelerate repayment of these loans. To date, there remains less than $500,000 owed to the lenders. We are on track to fulfill our aspiration to be completely free of debt within five years. All means of support are deeply appreciated and most welcome.
