SPRING 2010 CLASSES
Inner Yoga - Mondays May 3 - June 21, 6:30-8:30 pm
In the mid-1970s, His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche wrote a concise root text presenting a sequence of physical yogas to support the synchronization of body, speech and mind in meditation practice. These dynamic exercises, and the essential Buddhist teaching upon which they are based, will be presented in an 8-week class. The yogas can be of benefit to anyone, as they promote a sense of well-being and harmony in one’s daily life.
Tuition: $145 (KSC members at $25/month or more: $125)
Ceremonial Arts 1 - Tuesdays May 4 - June 22, 6:30-8:30 pm
This class will explore the symbolism and meaning of some of the works of art and ceremonial objects in KSC's shrine room. The first of two planned classes, this is an excellent basis for participating in the care of the shrine room for daily and special occasions. Permission of the lamas required.
Tuition: $145 (KSC members at $25/month or more: $125)
