Tuesday Class - The Three Vehicles of Buddhism: The First Turning

Lama Pema & Lama Yeshe

Tuesdays, January 29 – March 5

6:30 – 8:30pm

In the First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma, the Buddha gave such seminal teachings as the Four Noble Truths, the Marks of Existence, the Four Veils, the Links of Interdependent Origination, and others. These are the foundation of all Buddhist outlook and meditation, and thus they constitute a sturdy base for our personal study and practice.

This class initiates a new style of class presentation at KSC. Lama Pema and Lama Yeshe will teach the new material for each class via DVD. There will be meditation and contemplation homework given each week. During the remainder of class time, two senior students will lead discussion and answer questions.

Tuition: $145 (KSC members giving support of $30/month or more: $125) Scholarships available. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
