The Three Vehicles of Buddhism: The Third Turning

Led by Lama Liza Baer, with Dharma Instructor Marie Maretska

Tue. Oct. 15 – Nov. 19, 6:30 – 8:30 pm

The Third Turning of the Wheel of the Dharma emphasizes Buddha Nature, the genuine awakened nature of all sentient beings. In addition, the Eight Consciousnesses will be introduced as a way to understand the mind’s operation. The pivotal relationship between teacher and student will be explored, and meditation methods such as Insight, Creation and Completion, Ngöndro (Foundations), and Mahamudra will be introduced.

Lama Liza will give original teachings on these topics, assisted by Dharma Instructor Marie Maretska. It is helpful to have attended the preceding Turnings classes, but not required.
