Seeking Integrity Across the Buddhist Path
A weekend with Lama Drupgyu
Sat. and Sun. January 26 - 27
10 am – noon & 2 – 4pm
At this time when fact and clear evidence are regularly questioned in the interest of greed and personal power, at a time when elemental fears of “other” and the unknown undermine the most basic moral values, when even the normal guardians of decency become the voices of hypocrisy, personal integrity has become vitally important both for us individually as well as for the world we live in.
What does the Buddhist path have to say about integrity and its role in spiritual engagement? How should we understand integrity from the perspective of the different stages of Buddhist training? How can we guarantee that integrity is maintained and enhanced through our practice and training? How are we to understand such Buddhist topics as mindfulness, emptiness, compassion, and the transformative tools of Vajrayana in the context of our pursuit of integrity?
These are some of the questions that will be considered in this two-day seminar, which will combine teaching, discussion and meditation.
Suggested donation: $120 for the weekend. Soup Supper will be available at Saturday lunch for $10 donation to Scholarship Fund.
