Practice groups are offered as a way to deepen sangha connection with meditation practice while studying with other dedicated practitioners. Groups meet monthly, for six or nine months, depending on the group. Group members commit to daily meditation, as well as readings and contemplations, to build a reliable meditation practice.

Tranquility Practice  
(October 2016 – June 2017)

The Tranquility Practice Group works with the Calm Abiding meditation as its central focus. Various meditations will be explored, as participants build or reinforce their daily practice. Practitioners of all levels are welcome to join. A 9-month practice commitment is expected, and group meets 6-8:00 p.m. Mondays: Jan 23, Feb13, March 20 & April 17

Insight I & II Practice Groups
(October 2016 – June 2017)

The Insight Practice Groups work with the Calm Abiding meditation, but take it a step further with contemplating and exploring the mind. Prior empowerment & instruction required to attend. If you are interested in joining the group, contact one of the Lamas. Insight I: 12-2:00 p.m. Calm Abiding Sundays: Jan. 22, Feb. 12, March 19 & April 16
Insight II: 2-4:00 p.m. Wednesdays: Jan 11, Feb 8, March 8 & April 12


Joyful Effort Practice Groups  
ongoing all year 

The Joyful Effort Practice Groups work with the Ngöndro, or Foundational practices. This is a Vajrayana practice, and prior empowerment & instruction is required to attend. New and renewing members are accepted at the April 30 meeting. Groups meet 12-2:00 p.m. Tonglen Sundays: Jan. 29, Feb. 26, March 26 & April 30; and on Fridays – 8:00 am
