In the current time, there is difficulty and challenge everywhere: Wars, famines, refugees, economic peril, corruption, and currently, tremendous political mistrust between people. Resources dwindle, and we feel overwhelmed by the needs of all. We truly want to help, but how?

Dalai Lama    Without inner peace, it is impossible to have world peace. Let us not disregard injustice and repression in the world. But we shall look at them as reflections of ourselves and what goes on in our own mind. What happens in the external world mirrors what goes on in the minds of individual human beings.

How can we create a genuine and confident sense of our openness and courage, in order to meet the world? How can we maintain this openness and courage, and return to it again and again?

 Lama Pema will give foundational Buddhist teachings, augmented by meditations and guided visualizations, to build and enhance each individual's inner resources of authentic strength, gentleness, and mindful awareness.
