"Karma" A hybrid teaching by Lama Pema

“Karma” is one of the most common words we hear in the teachings of the Buddha -- and also a word that is easily misunderstood. H. E. Tai Situ Rinpoche said, “There are misunderstandings about karma. Many people think that karma is unchangeable. They say, ‘Oh, it’s karma,’ and then give up. But why does that happen?”

In this day-long teaching, Lama Pema will explore with you the genuine meaning of karma, the various types, and how deepening our understanding of karma can support changing and improving our lives. Through listening, reflecting, discussion and meditation, we will deeply explore this central and pivotal teaching of Buddhism.

“Bring your questions and curiosity. Hope to see you there.”   Lama Pema
