Registration now open!
Program runs October 2025 - June 2026
The Dharma Kids program provides a wonderful kid-friendly opportunity for children to learn and experience the Dharma. We explore the teachings of the Buddha and plant the seeds of compassion, loving kindness, and mindfulness. Our Sundays include an insightful talk with Lama Pema or Lama Yeshe, meditation, mindful-movement, dharma discussions, outside play, games, and dharma-inspired art projects. This program is FREE to all and your donations to the Dharma center are welcome.
Our mornings begin together with the Lama led Dharma talk and then we separate by age groups. The younger group is ages 5-8 and the older group 9-13 years old.
Our leader team includes Ann and Clark Zimmerman, Malena Fitting, and Ian Luepker. We look forward to sharing this special time with you.
Calm Abiding & Tonglen Sundays, 9:00 – 11:30 am (please arrive by 8:50 ish to get settled before the Lama talk)
Fall / Winter dates: (spring dates to come later)
Oct. 5 & 26
Nov. 2 & 23
Dec. 7 & 21
Jan. 4 & 25
Pre-registration is required
Class size is limited to 12 children for the younger group and 9 children for the older group.
We ask that parents be present at the Dharma Center, either upstairs in the Shrine room or with the Dharma Kids. This is a practice group (not a drop in program), the continuity of regular attendance allows us to grow community and build a strong foundation with the teachings from week to week.
